Led by Dan Stainbrook, the Riverside Wolverines defeated the San Bernardino Flight, 9-6. Stainbrook went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Wolverines. Riverside pitcher Jeff O'Donovan earned the win, hiking his record to 5-0. Ireno Seguro suffered the loss. At 63-62, the Wolverines claim second place in the Southern Conference West Division.

With a runner on 1st and one out in the top of the sixth inning, third baseman Xavier Encarnao delivered big for the Wolverines. Riverside was trailing 6-4 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Encarnao.
