Mario Lopez had a good game, but he could not keep the Chuluota Imperials from falling, 5-4, to the Crystal Lake Killers at Killer Stadium. The Chuluota first baseman belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice in the loss. Crystal Lake reliever Jim Miller was the winner. His record is now 9-3. Marco Torres took the loss. Crystal Lake now sports a record of 75-46.

T.J. Herrera was the walk-off hero for Crystal Lake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Killers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Herrera told reporters after the game.
