The Jacksonville Nationals polished off the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers by the score of 11-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to first baseman Dan Skiba. Skiba slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Nationals. Rico Hache went 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 8 hits. Despite the loss, the Sunchasers got an encouraging performance from 21-year-old Tom Lambert. In the top of the sixth, he hit a 2-run single to make the score 9-3, Jacksonville. "It's not easy for a young guy to go out there and perform," Sunchasers manager said. "But he did it like one of the vets."
