The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

The Buckeye Local Panthers overcame a pretty good performance by Riverside designated hitter Seth Robinson, beating the Wolverines, 13-10, at Cincinnati Grounds. Robinson went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Buckeye Local reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win. Jorge Ospina took the loss for Riverside.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chad Hubbard in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a grand slam home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Ospina to win the game for Buckeye Local. The home crowd went nuts.

"Now that's my kind of ending," said a smiling Hubbard.

The Wolverines, now 25-35, have lost 5 straight.
