Juneau shortstop Danny Adams had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Adams was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, even as Haviland beat the Sled Dogs, 4-3. Danny Flores notched his 1st save of the season. With the win, the Thrashers sit at 38-20.

Jim Graves dealt the Sled Dogs a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Haviland leading 3-2, Graves hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.

Graves called the win "a pick-me-upper."
