The first-place Ft. Wayne Earthquakes picked up another win.

Ft. Wayne third baseman Chad Rodriguez had a 6-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Jacksonville Nationals, 19-13. The second-place Nationals have lost 4 straight games.

Rodriguez had a key at-bat for Ft. Wayne in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Ft. Wayne an early 5-1 lead.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Rodriguez told the Ft. Wayne Bulletin.
