Gatica, Thrashers Too Much for Texans
The Haviland Thrashers downed the Corpus Christi Texans, 13-4, at Ballpark of Haviland. Omar Gatica led the way, going 2-for-3 for Haviland. Haviland is second in the Southern Conference East Division with a record of 31-20.

Juan Medrano, who is tied for 4th in the SC with a .346 batting average, aided the Haviland cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 5 with a walk.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Haviland manager Bill Mason.
