The Chuluota Imperials welcomed the San Bernardino Flight to an afternoon game at Imperials Ballpark.

Led by Mario Lopez, the Chuluota Imperials downed the San Bernardino Flight, 3-1. Lopez was 2-4 with a home run for the Imperials. Marco Torres picked up the win in relief. Corneles Manolas took the loss for San Bernardino.

Lopez had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Imperials went on to win.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Imperials manager Larry Voltaire.

The Imperials, at 12-34, inhabit last place in the Southern Conference East Division.
