Crystal Lake Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Crystal Lake left fielder Justin Wish contributed significantly to his team's 8-6 win over the Riverside Wolverines. Wish, who leads the SC in RBI with 56, went 3 for 5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Killers. The win went to Kevin Irons in relief, making him now 1-0. Bobby Villasenor took the loss for Riverside. At 24-16, Crystal Lake is in first place in the Southern Conference West Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Wish hit a curveball from Bobby Villasenor for a 2-run home run. The Killers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Wish. "You've got to get results."
