Earthquakes Mow Down Imperials, 9-4
At Imperials Ballpark, the Chuluota Imperials and Ft. Wayne Earthquakes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Ft. Wayne right-hander Hugo Reyes pitched his team to victory over the Chuluota Imperials at Imperials Ballpark. The final score was 9-4. The winner was Reyes. He threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Kyle Young.

In the top of the first inning, shortstop Jose Valdez had a run-scoring double for Ft. Wayne. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Earthquakes on top, 1-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ft. Wayne skipper Du-sung Moon.

The Earthquakes are now 31-10, while the Imperials fall to 9-32.
