Killers Lose By a Run at Riverside
Riverside pitcher Tabari Jamal al Din had a large part in his team beating the Crystal Lake Killers, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Jonathan Miron was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Riverside now sports a record of 23-11.

The Wolverines got an important contribution from second baseman Manny Esquibel, who in the bottom of the second knocked a 0-1 fastball to center for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Wolverines ahead, 4-0.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Crystal Lake manager Josh Lewis.
