Chaloux Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-4 Killers Triumph
The Crystal Lake Killers beat the Chuluota Imperials, 6-4, at Killer Stadium. Mike Chaloux, who is tied for 9th in the SC with a .435 on-base percentage, starred for Crystal Lake. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Willie Garcia snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Damian Garriga suffered the loss. Kevin Irons earned save number 2 this season.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, shortstop Kyle Summey delivered a key hit for the Killers. With Crystal Lake trailing 4-3, he ripped a solo home run.

"Very good win for our guys," said Summey.

Crystal Lake, at 19-15, holds down first place in the Southern Conference West Division.
