Wolverines Defeat Earthquakes, 4-2
The Riverside Wolverines racked up a win at Earthquakes Stadium, bumping off the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes, 4-2. Ryan Neely, who started for Riverside, pitched effectively for his team. By defeating Ft. Wayne, the second-place Wolverines improved to 15-17.

Riverside used the timely hitting of Seth Robinson to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Wolverines on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Ryan made his pitches," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
