Buckeye Local Absorbs 5-1 Loss to Jacksonville
|
Edwin Retana was a vital contributor to the 5-1 Jacksonville victory over Buckeye Local. The Nationals second baseman was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Nationals, at 14-15, sit in 4th place in the Southern Conference East Division.
Jacksonville took a 5-1 lead on Retana's 14th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Armando Botello in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Jacksonville to the win.
Jacksonville manager Zack Glomski called it "a good, solid win."
