Panthers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Nationals
Jacksonville designated hitter Bobby Sidener had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Sidener slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4, even as Buckeye Local beat the Nationals, 10-8, in 10 innings. The loss has the Nationals at 12-15.

Buckeye Local used the hitting of Neal Swanson to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Panthers on top, 9-8. For the game, Swanson had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Swanson.
