Haviland first baseman Bryan Valenta had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-2, to Juneau at Sled Dogs Ballpark. Valenta went 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. Lorenzo Guerrero earned the save, his 7th. Juneau bumps their record to 21-8 with the win.

The Sled Dogs got an important contribution from right fielder Ryan Hardeman, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a sinker to right for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Sled Dogs ahead, 4-1.

Juneau manager Jordan Nolasco commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
