The exploits of shortstop Justin Freas, who is tied for 10th in the SC in bases on balls with 24, helped the Chuluota Imperials defeat the Riverside Wolverines, 4-2. Freas went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. The Wolverines, at 12-17, have lost 8 straight games.

Chuluota used the timely hitting of Justin Kelley to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Imperials ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We haven't been playing to the level we want to play," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
