Adrian Sosa knocked in 4 runs to help Sunrise Manor beat Buckeye Local, 9-2. Sosa produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. The Sunchasers, with only their 4th win in 24 games, have not had much to write home about in 2025.

The Panthers had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Sunchasers going into the bottom of the seventh inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old center fielder Manny Placencia came to the plate. Placencia hit a 2-run double on a 1-2 fastball from Buckeye Local hurler Luis Castillo. It was Placencia's 7th double of the year.

"They took it to us," said Buckeye Local manager Tyler Byrd.
