The Buffalo Bellflowers defeated the Lincoln Princes, 9-7, at Wegman's Field. Buffalo first baseman Chris Morales had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bobby Simpson earned the save, his 23rd, for the Bellflowers. The losses continue to mount for Lincoln, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Buffalo took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Morales hit a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season made the score 7-5, Buffalo.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Morales told the Buffalo Chronicle.
