Tight Tilt Goes to Bats, 3-2
In a tight tilt between the Whitby Bats and the Lincoln Princes, Ruben Espinoza was the deciding factor. The Whitby right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. With the win, Whitby raised its record to 74-21.

Matt Sikes went 1 for 2 with a walk for Whitby. The 20-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jordan Garcia. It was his 92nd RBI of the season.

After the game, Whitby manager David Sawyers applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
