Behind an impressive start by David Hernandez, Buffalo beat Abingdon, 3-2. Hernandez, the winner, moves to 9-4. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. Pedro Tello nailed down the save.
Kevin Jones, who is tied for 8th in the NC in triples with 2, had a direct impact on the outcome. Jones contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Buffalo up, 3-1.
