Pirates Earn 7-5 Home Win
The Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates topped the Buffalo Bellflowers, 7-5, at Spinners Ballpark. Saint Pierre and Miquelon catcher Kenny Porterfield was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Saint Pierre and Miquelon reliever Dan Martin picked up the win to move to 7-1. Chris Wimberley suffered the loss. Evan Sippel was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 7 save opportunities.

Porterfield contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Saint Pierre and Miquelon get the win.
