Saint Pierre and Miquelon pitcher Chris Byrd did his part in helping his team defeat the Terra Linda Chargers, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Saint Pierre and Miquelon pitcher Toru Nishimura got the win. He's now 2-2. Shu-de Khu was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was Lupe Carrillo, his 3rd.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon took a 3-2 lead on Roberto Castruita's 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Castruita hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Terra Linda pitcher Shu-de Khu visibly frustrated.

Castruita attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."

The triumph makes Saint Pierre and Miquelon 20-43.
