The Buffalo Bellflowers took it on the chin, losing, 10-2, to the Whitby Bats. Kevin Harris pitched a strong game for Whitby. The win for the Bats lifted their record to 38-22.

The Bats got a big hit from left fielder Marco Grijalva. Facing Buffalo pitcher Edwardo Herrera in the top of the eighth, Grijalva pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 13th home run of the season put the Bats ahead, 10-0.

Buffalo manager Andy Perez called the blowout loss "a real dud."
