Terra Linda registered a win at Ballpark of Plantersville by beating the Plymouth Rockers, 3-1. Pitcher John Manship was one reason why the Chargers triumphed. The win was credited to 19-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Williams in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Chris Gonzalez took the loss. The Chargers, at 31-20, sit in first place in the Northern Conference East Division.

Terra Linda got a game-changing hit from Adam Mathis. The third baseman blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Manship said.
