Raucous University of Maine Stadium Crowd Propels Oaks to 3-0 Victory; Series Tied at 3
The Orono Oaks and the Spokane Selects will take the League Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Oaks shut out the Selects, 3-0, at University of Maine Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Orono left-hander D.J. Urbanek did his part. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball.

In his 80-pitch effort, Urbanek allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings. He walked 0 and struck out 5.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Urbanek. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at University of Maine Stadium in Orono.
