Huntsville Wins League Championship Series
The Huntsville Rockets out-dueled and outgunned the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks in the League Championship Series and are on to the next round.

Huntsville won the final game 5-2 at Ballpark of Austin and the series 4-2.

Jesus Belcher was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the League Championship Series. He had a .500 average with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 7 runs.

"I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the World Series," he said.

The Huntsville Rockets will play against the Dollywood Partons in the next round. Dollywood won their series against the Barrie Admirals 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
