Killers Hammered by Johnson, Fall Further Behind in DS
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Tommy Johnson, the Jacksonville Nationals flattened the Crystal Lake Killers, 14-5, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Johnson was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Nationals, who now lead 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.

Johnson had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth, when he hit a grand slam home run. The Nationals went on to win.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Johnson, "and then get after it again."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, September 14th , 2025 at Nationals Park in Jacksonville.
