Brogdon, Capitols Wallop Tigers in Game 5 of CS
The Augusta Capitols have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading London Tigers, winning, 6-1, at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. Capitols catcher Brent Brogdon was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win cuts the deficit facing the Capitols to 3-2 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Augusta used the timely hitting of Caleb Langenwalter to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Capitols on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We are some kind of hot right now," said Langenwalter.

Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday at The Capitol Dome in Augusta.
