Santa Rosa Win Evens Series at 2
The Santa Rosa Desperados took down the St. Catharines Blue Jays by the score of 8-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the League Championship Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to Santa Rosa starter Bubba Byrne, who threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball.

Byrne, a native of Dallas, Texas, was dealing all game. He kept St. Catharines hitters off-balance, while giving the Desperados 7.1 quality innings. Byrne threw 88 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6.
