Aztecs, Lumberjacks Play 11 to Settle Game 3, Mexico City Now Leads Series 2-1
Bangor Lumberjacks manager David Whigham took a gamble on 21-year-old starter Ben Calder. It paid off, but, unfortunately for the Lumberjacks, little else did.

Despite getting a poised performance from the young right-hander, the Lumberjacks lost, 4-3, to the Mexico City Aztecs at Ballpark of Bangor. With the win, Mexico City took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Mexico City used a timely hit from Brent Mallinson to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Aztecs ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame remarks, Mallinson simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Bangor in Bangor.
