It was a sweet sweep for the Michigan State Spartans as they eased past the Louisville Cardinals to advance to the Final 4.

Michigan State won the final game by a 10-1 count and the series 2-0.

"We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Bert O'Connell, who was named series MVP.

For the series, O'Connell hit .556 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs.
