Starting pitcher Marco Montes gave the Borrego Springs Rams a rock-solid effort. The Calabozo, Venezuela native helped his team defeat the Buffalo Bellflowers, 2-1, at Wegman's Field. Montes, now 4-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 run.
