Mounties Pull Out Late-Game Win, 6-5
The Moncton Mounties faced a tough opponent in Plymouth pitcher Quentin Dickson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Madison Grounds by a final score of 6-5. Dickson went 9 innings and allowed 4 runs. Chris Gabbitas got credit for the save for Moncton. It was his 2nd of the year. Moncton has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

Jessie Cable came through with a big-time hit for Moncton. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cable told the Moncton Daily.
