Reich Lays Hammer Down in 2-1 Win
|
Jeremy Reich, who is tied for 3rd in the NC in complete games with 1, pitched a gem in leading Buffalo to a 2-1 victory over the Long Island Torpedoes. The Bellflowers, now 26-13, have won 4 in a row.
Reich was effective for Buffalo, seldom allowing the Torpedoes to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 91 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Long Island to just 1 run on 2 hits.
"Jeremy was in attack mode the whole game," said Buffalo manager Andy Perez.
