Buffalo Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Feliciano
The Long Island Torpedoes overcame a good performance by Buffalo second baseman Chris Feliciano to knock off Buffalo, 9-7, at Centerville Grounds. Feliciano went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Jose Herrera recorded the save, his 5th. The win makes Long Island 19-20.

With Long Island leading 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Justin Holmes hit a run-scoring single off Buffalo pitcher Danny Cossa. It put the Torpedoes ahead 6-4.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Holmes told the Long Island Herald. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
