Plymouth got a valiant performance from pitcher Quentin Dickson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Buffalo Bellflowers. Buffalo won the game, 2-1. Dickson threw 9.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The first-place Bellflowers now have a win-loss record of 21-12.

Buffalo took the lead, 2-0, on Antonio Encinas's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Plymouth pitcher Quentin Dickson in the top of the seventh.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Bellflowers manager Andy Perez, "I like our chances."
