The Terra Linda Chargers got a superb performance from pitcher John Manship, but the Borrego Springs Rams still won the game, 10-5. Manship threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Chris Gibbons earned the save for Borrego Springs, his 1st of the year. With the win, Borrego Springs upped its record to 18-13.

Andy Bennett delivered a big hit for Borrego Springs. The second baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rams ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Borrego Springs manager Michael Wright.
