Rams Topple Colonels with Late Rally
The Borrego Springs Rams pinned a convincing loss on the Tiverton Colonels, 9-3, at Field of the Colonels. Mike MacPherson was a main factor in the win. He went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Borrego Springs. Tiverton drops to 12-12.

In the top of the eighth, the Rams grabbed the lead when MacPherson hit his 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Jim Unknown made it 7-3, Borrego Springs.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said MacPherson. "And not try to do too much."
