Whitby shortstop Adam Chunn had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Lincoln Princes, 10-3. Ramiro Solis, the winner, improved to 1-2. He held Lincoln to 1 run on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Sergio Hernandez sewed up the save, his 1st.

Omar Castillo had a big run-scoring double for the Bats in the top of the third inning. With Whitby leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Jim Unknown and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bats ahead, 2-0.
