Great Stroke: Cortes Gets 5 Hits
Ricky Cortes was the King of Swing at Ballpark of Plantersville in the 17-2 Terra Linda Chargers win over the Long Island Torpedoes. The Terra Linda catcher stepped into the batter's box 6 times against Long Island and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him.

"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-6 isn't bad for your batting average either."

Ricky Cortes hit a two-run home run off Katsutoshi Watanabe in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Miguel Mosquera in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
